In the maps in your Borders presentation, you just have an arrow between the West Bank and Gaza Strip. How will they be connected? Have previous negotiations discussed this? Will the connection be part of land swaps?
In your presentation on Borders, you mention Ariel as one of the most difficult settlements to resolve, because it is so populous but it is so deep into the West Bank. What are some of the other contentious settlements? Why are Maaleh Adumim and Efrat so controversial if they are so close to the 1967 lines?
Much of your Borders presentation focuses on how to draw the final borders of Israel in order to evacuate as few Israelis as possible from the West Bank. Why can't Israelis stay in the West Bank as citizens or residents in the new Palestinian state? Are Palestinians insisting on a Judenrein?
Even in the most optimistic Border proposals, over 100,000 settlers will need to be evacuated. Is this feasible, practically or politically? What kind of settlers are located in these remote settlements? What would entice them to voluntarily relocate? Will they violently resist evacuation? Doesn't the experience with the Gaza withdrawal bode poorly for the chances of a broader withdrawal?
What is the Israeli security barrier/fence? How does it relate to drawing a border? What challenges does it present? How much of it is along the 1967 lines? How and why has the route changed?
The divisions of Municipal Jerusalem shown in your Jerusalem presentation had quite a bit of "salamandering," meaning long extensions of Israeli territory into East Jerusalem in order to include the few Jewish neighborhoods there. How does that affect the Palestinians living along those narrow corridors? Will they be able to easily "cross over" the Israeli corridors? An analogy I can think that's closer to home might be: Will San Francisco residents be able to "cross over" the Golden Gate bridge? Or would they be forced to go all the way around through Oakland?
Isn't the United Nation just perpetuating the Palestinian refugee crisis? Why does the definition for Palestinian refugees in UNWRA differ from the definition of all other Palestinian refugees under the UN High Commission for Refugees (UNHCR)? Why does UNWRA have a larger budget than the UNHCR? What is the current position of Arab countries on the Palestinian Right of Return?
